Features: In the teaching of law at higher education institutions, in addition to textbooks, what other supplementary materials are needed? What kind of supplementary materials can best meet teaching needs? To address these questions, we conducted extensive surveys among faculty and students in law schools and legal departments of universities. Through the surveys, it was found that the supplementary materials needed in teaching are essentially three categories: cases, regulations, and examination questions. However, current supplementary teaching books are either specialized in cases, regulations, or examination questions. As a result, in a single course, students may need several supplementary books to meet the requirements, increasing their burden. Based on the above surveys, to better meet the needs of law teaching, in accordance with the "Basic Requirements for Core Course Teaching in Law Majors of Higher Education Institutions" formulated by the Ministry of Education, we organized some teachers and doctoral students from universities such as Peking University, Renmin University of China, China University of Political Science and Law, University of International Business and Economics, People's Public Security University of China, and Xiangtan University to compile this series of books.
