To improve diagnostic accuracy, enhance treatment effectiveness, and reduce diagnostic costs, the World Health Organization established the Working Group on Research for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Infertility in 1978. One of its tasks was to develop standardized procedures for the examination of infertile couples. Based on the experience of treating 9,000 couples, the "WHO Manual on Standardized Examination and Diagnosis of Infertility in Infertile Couples" was finally published in 1993. There have been numerous specialized books on male infertility published in recent years. Under the guidance of their predecessors, Professor Wang Yixin and his colleagues have achieved remarkable accomplishments in the field of clinical andrology. The publication of this book is the crystallization of their decades of experience. Overall, the book has the following characteristics: 1) A combination of basic and clinical knowledge, with both theoretical depth and practical experience; 2) Focus on practicality, providing practical guidance from the diagnosis to the treatment of male infertility; 3) Much of the information is derived from research findings in China.
