Features: "The master of romance," Haiyan, writes about a selfless and timeless spiritual love in this book. The beautiful and kind girl Ding You falls in love with the strong and muscular boxer Zhou Yue. However, the pressure of survival forces her to struggle in the whirlpool of family, love, and morality. Besides pure emotions, the novel is also dominated by the harsh issue of wealth and poverty, as well as people's confusion, fantasies, and the choices they must ultimately make in the face of money. The so-called "Plain Life" is merely a reflection of the female protagonist's sentiments after experiencing love, hate, life, and death: "Only when life is simple and calm is it true." Haiyan's ability to weave a story and evoke emotions with pure sincerity makes "Plain Life" full of ups and downs, as if real and as if illusory. And from the preface, he cleverly "fabricates" a documentary-style writing style—it's a "conspiracy." Hes scenes involving himself and many well-known figures, including his friends who are journalists, as well as the Beijing Evening News. His subtlety is so great that even journalists get lost in the "fabricated documentary" where he appears as a "paid witness" with his real name. Haiyan has always been a mystery. Under his name, he wears not only the halo of an author but also titles like Vice President of Jinjiang Group, President of Kunlun Hotel, and President of the China Hotel Association. And when you learn that this typical writer, who also happens to be the chairman with a face that can turn steel and concrete into something vivid and enchanting through his imagination, is also a skilled hotel designer, you realize that he is not only an extraordinary businessman but also a thinker and an actor. In fact, his success is no accident. His professional achievements in the business world are matched by his amateur literary brilliance.
