Features: "Organic City" is a book that takes you through the cycles and transformations of cities throughout history. From 5th-century Athens, 14th-century Florence, 16th-century London, 18th-century Vienna, 19th-century Paris, to 20th-century New York... these great cities all had their golden eras. Even smaller cities like Württemberg in Germany once stood out with their unique charm. However, after cities' brilliance illuminated world civilization, they gradually fade from the stage as trends shift, to be replaced by the next city leading the era in a different way. Will the world's great cities of the 21st century fall to Asia?
