Features: The efforts of this series of books ultimately boil down to three specific goals and pursuits: life, exams, and creative writing. Writing is intended to help students better adapt to social life and lay a foundation for entering society, which is also the basic orientation of quality education. To this end, we have designed writing guides and training for various practical writing formats. In addition to covering all the types of practical writing specified in the new curriculum standards, we have also expanded the scope to include some new and common practical writing styles. It is undeniable that students' writing ultimately needs to address exams, and this series of books is meticulously designed in this regard, balancing urgency and relaxation, adopting a dual-track system appropriately: on one hand, it integrates exam skills into the regular content, breaking it down into smaller parts and tackling it piece by piece; on the other hand, it introduces knowledge closely related to exam content and format in the grades nearing graduation—fifth and sixth, eighth and ninth, and eleventh and twelfth grades—aiming to achieve a breakthrough in scores and realize the ideal alignment of quality education and exam-oriented education. This series of books aims to popularize while also focusing on improvement. Starting from the eleventh and twelfth grades, literary appreciation and creative writing are introduced to bridge the gap between students and literature, promoting a qualitative leap in writing towards literature. This is the last major task the series of books aims to accomplish: to inspire interest in literary creation, lead students into the world of literature, and preliminarily shape their literary appreciation and creative abilities. Perhaps in the foreseeable future, from among them will emerge May Fourth Movement writers like Mao Dun, Ba Jin, or Shen Congwen. We have every reason to hope that the leap in writing education will synchronize with the great rejuvenation of the nation.
