Cervical Cancer Stage II: Those with any of the following conditions are classified as Stage II. The tumor has invaded the vagina but is still limited to the upper 2/3 of the vagina; the tumor has invaded the parametrial tissues (including the cardinal ligaments and uterosacral ligaments) but has not yet reached the pelvic wall; the uterine body has been invaded. Tumors that only invade the vaginal wall, or are primarily characterized by vaginal wall invasion, are classified as the vaginal type. Tumors that only invade the parametrial tissues, or are primarily characterized by parametrial tissue invasion, are classified as the parametrial type. ?IIa (Early Stage II) ① Invasion of the vaginal fornix does not exceed 2 cm; ② Invasion of the parametrial tissues is limited to the inner 1/3.
IIb (Middle Stage II) ① Invasion of the vagina exceeds 2 cm but is still limited to the upper 1/3; ② Invasion of the parametrial tissues exceeds the inner 1/3 but is still limited to the inner 1/2.
IIc (Late Stage II) ① Invasion of the vagina is limited to the middle 1/3 segment or above; ② Invasion of the parametrial tissues exceeds the inner 1/2 but has not yet reached the pelvic wall; ③ The uterine body has been invaded.
