Features: Machine learning in Beijing is a very important research field in computer science and artificial intelligence. In recent years, machine learning has not only demonstrated great capabilities in many fields of computer science but has also become an important supporting technology for some interdisciplinary fields. This book invites experts from related fields at home and abroad to contribute articles, presenting research progress in different areas of machine learning in the form of reviews. The book is divided into 13 chapters. Chapter 1 is a global overview of machine learning. Chapters 2 to 6 review statistical learning, unsupervised learning, symbolic learning, reinforcement learning, and manifold learning, interspersed with some of the author's outstanding works. Chapters 7 and 8 introduce and discuss specific topics in the author's research on ensemble learning and evolutionary learning. Chapters 9 and 10 introduce and discuss some problems in data mining. Chapters 11 to 13 introduce the applications of machine learning in fields such as pattern recognition and video information processing. This book can be used as a reference for students, teachers, graduate students, and engineering technicians in computer science, automation, and related fields. This book invites experts from related fields at home and abroad to contribute articles, presenting research progress in different areas of machine learning in the form of reviews. It includes discussions on machine learning, statistical learning theory and its application in unsupervised learning problems, a review of clustering analysis techniques, symbolic machine learning research, and research progress in reinforcement learning.
