Features: The "Estimate Budget" for Chemical Engineering issued in 1990 was a complete estimate budget for installation engineering in the petroleum and chemical industry. After its issuance, it played an important role in investment control for chemical engineering construction in China. The "Estimate Budget" for Chemical Engineering issued in 2003 was organized and compiled by the Chemical Engineering Committee of the China Association for Engineering Cost Management, representing a comprehensive revision of the 1990 edition based on current national standards and industry specifications. It consists of eleven sub-volumes, covering the following areas: installation engineering of chemical machinery and equipment; installation and masonry of industrial furnaces; fabrication and installation of process metal structures; installation of process pipelines; painting, insulation, and anticorrosion engineering; automatic control devices and instrument engineering; electrical and low-voltage engineering; water supply and drainage engineering; heating engineering; ventilation and air conditioning engineering; chemical building engineering and building anticorrosion engineering. The book includes engineering quantity calculation rules at the end. Each sub-volume is preceded by a preface explaining the national and industry standards it is based on, as well as the main contents included in the construction costs. This is a comprehensive expansion of the 1990 edition, with new sub-items added for new processes, materials, and equipment used in building and installation engineering. The sub-items are comprehensive, with appropriately set projects and reasonable steps, objectively reflecting the socially necessary consumption. The aligns with the social average level. This revision was carried out based on market needs. In equipment installation, sub-items were added for the installation of vertical diaphragm electrolytic cells (also applicable to ion membrane electrolytic cells), electrostatic precipitators, and electrostatic dust collectors. In industrial pipeline (including water supply and drainage pipelines) installation, sub-items were added for the installation of non-metallic pipelines (e.g., rubber-lined steel pipes, fiberglass pipes, rigid polyvinyl chloride plastic pipes, polypropylene pipes, polyethylene pipes, and aluminum-plastic composite pipes for large diameters). For metal pipelines, sub-items were added for the installation of metal hoses, metal jacketed pipes, and ultra-low-carbon stainless steel pipes (e.g., 304L, 316L), along with corresponding usage instructions. In environmental protection, sub-items were added for the installation of large-tonnage equipment such as sewage pumps and vacuum pumps, as well as large-diameter welded steel pipes and steel plate rolled pipes used in sewage treatment. During this revision, a thorough and detailed error check was conducted on the 2003 edition of the "Estimate Budget for Chemical Engineering," and omitted content was supplemented. This is rich in content, covers a wide range, and has broad applicability. It features quantity-price separation, ease of adjustment, dynamic management, and computer management and application. It serves as a guiding basis for preparing preliminary design estimates, revised construction estimate drawings, domestic and international tendering and bidding base prices and quotations, and asset valuation. It can also be referenced for preparing project estimates and tendering documents for joint ventures with foreign investment, wholly foreign-owned projects, technological transformation projects, and relocation projects. This book is suitable for engineering design and cost personnel in chemical, petrochemical, light textile, pharmaceutical, and rubber industries for engineering construction projects. It can also be used as a reference for engineering consultants, tendering and bidding personnel, engineering supervisors, engineering auditors, and asset evaluators.
