The "Global Chinese Youth Meiwen Writing Competition" it organizes is often referred to as the "Chinese Youth Nobel Prize in Literature." In the winning works of this edition, five were included in high school Chinese textbooks. This year's competition wased by numerous distinguished figures such as Gu Zhenbiao, Chen Zhongshi, Yu Hua, Xiong Zhaozheng, Chen Sihe, Zhang Dawen, and Yang Liwei, with over 300,000 students participating and engaging in literary challenges for the college entrance examination essays. The "Global Chinese Youth Meiwen Writing Competition" is co-hosted by the Meiwen magazine and the Chinese Youth Literature Network, having successfully been held for two editions and hailed as the "Chinese Youth Nobel Prize in Literature." The first competition offered a substantial prize pool of 1.01 million yuan, attracting over 80,000 young students from across China and abroad. Among the three gold medal winners, two were admitted to Peking University and Nanjing University, while the third went abroad for studies. All ten winners of the grand prize were admitted to top universities in China. Five winning works from the first competition were selected for national standardized textbooks. This year's competition saw participation exceed 300,000, marking a record-breaking event of great scale.
