Features: Huanggang materials are everywhere, but Huanggang High School is the only one! Authenticated by Huanggang High School, the first official publication of its internal workbook! Founded in 1904, Huanggang High School in Hubei Province was designated as a key high school in Hubei in 1953 and awarded the title of "Advanced Unit in the National Education System" in 1986. In 2002, it was recognized as an "Advanced Unit in National Spiritual Civilization Construction."
Huanggang High School upholds the educational philosophy of "putting people first and establishing the school with virtue," forming the distinctive characteristic of "comprehensive development + special talents." It has explored a teaching style of "seeking truth, refinement, uniqueness, and innovation." The outstanding performance in college entrance exams and competitions is the inevitable result of its long-term implementation of quality education, as well as just one aspect of its abundant teaching achievements.
When it comes to cultivating students, what magic formula does Huanggang High School possess? What power does it have to turn sand into a tower? What skill does it have to turn stone into gold? These are questions I often hear. To think that Huanggang High School merely follows the of college entrance exams and passively prepares for exams is incorrect. Huanggang High School does not advocate rote memorization or passive problem-solving. If it has any exceptional qualities, it lies in its ability to fully understand the intentions of test setters and grasp their underlying principles, becoming a leader rather than a blind follower.
Huanggang High School does not oppose teachers diving into the sea of problems but strongly advocates that students break free from it. It opposes students doing mechanical, simple, repetitive, and monotonous exercises but requires them to complete necessary ones. We encourage students to tackle flexible, diverse, and widely applicable problems, allowing them to enrich their knowledge, develop skills, and enhance their qualities through the process of solving them.
If there is anything else Huanggang High School succeeds in, it is that while cultivating and shaping a large number of outstanding students, it has also forged its teaching team, creating renowned master teachers in Hubei Province. These teachers possess profound scientific and cultural literacy, innovative educational concepts, unique teaching styles, artistic skills, and remarkable teaching achievements.
To showcase the talents of Huanggang High School teachers and share their teaching results, we have organized frontline core teachers from the school to meticulously plan and compile three series: "Huanggang High School Workbook," "Huanggang High School Exam Papers," and "Huanggang High School 2006 College Entrance Exam First and Second Round Training Materials."
The "Huanggang High School Workbook" series is based on the "Teaching Syllabus" and "Exam Syllabus," highlighting the role of "homework" in the process of students forming learning ability, problem-solving ability, and exam-taking ability. It reflects the inevitable connection between Huanggang High School students' brilliant performance in various exams and their rigorous daily practice.
This series features a carefully designed format, including four major sections: "Pre-class Warm-up," "In-class Homework," "After-class Homework," and "Exam Online," to strengthen training and improve abilities. It also has the following characteristics:
1. Appropriate Exercise Placement: The exercises are arranged to reinforce and progressively enhance the knowledge points, test points, question types, and methods. The series aims to elevate students' problem-solving skills through progressive exercises in ability-based, open-ended, applied, and comprehensive formats.
2. Moderate Difficulty Gradient: The ratio of basic, intermediate, and difficult questions in this series is 6:3:1, suitable for the use of most secondary schools. Most questions are labeled with A, B, or C to indicate difficulty levels, ensuring fair and clear requirements.
3. Detailed Solution Hints: The answers at the back of the book are appropriately detailed, with more thorough explanations for difficult questions. It is worth mentioning that the insightful hints provided sometimes play a pivotal role.
This series emphasizes the originality and quality of the authors' exercises, with rigorous review and proofreading at every stage, striving to become a unique gem in the educational supplement market.
