Features: Each volume of this teaching reference adopts a structure of upper and lower sections. The chapters in the upper section correspond to the chapter titles in the accompanying teaching materials. Generally, they include two main components:
1. Selected Materials: This section collects representative primary sources from each historical period.
2. Academic Research Surveys: This primarily introduces the current state of research on various historical periods in the field of history, including different academic discussions, diverse historiographical perspectives, and significant or representative research achievements. These contents can be used for classroom teaching, as well as for student self-study, discussions, and preliminary academic research, better aligning with the overall teaching reform concept of "two spaces."
The lower section consists of selected academic papers for reading, aiming to provide students with exemplary academic writing. The selection criteria are:
1. Content: The papers should have high academic value, exert considerable influence within a specific academic field, and represent a particular viewpoint or school of thought.
2. Format: The academic writing should be relatively standardized, making it easier for students to practice and imitate when learning to write papers. This section is primarily intended for students' reference outside of class.
