Features: The revision of this graded repertoire collection features the most significant change of expanding the original eight pieces for each level to twelve pieces for each level. This aims to help learners explore a wider range of repertoire while providing teachers and students with more choices. Additionally, there are three other notable features: 1) The coverage of authors and works has been broadened, while still striving to ensure the selected pieces are highly representative; 2) In the selection of original compositions, efforts were made to address the shortage of works from the late 1980s onward in the original version, making the new collection more comprehensive, diverse, and distinctive; 3) The arrangement of pieces across different levels has been adjusted based on years of grading experience to make it more rational and scientific. It is especially important to note that the pieces marked with an asterisk in the table of contents are designated as required examination pieces. For each level, there are two traditional pieces marked with an asterisk, from which one must be chosen as a mandatory examination piece. For original compositions, levels 1 to 9 have three pieces marked with an asterisk, while level 10 has four, and one must be chosen as a mandatory examination piece.
