Features: The new round of educational reform, curriculum reform, and examination reform has brought significant changes to China's college admission system, especially in the reform of examination content, which further emphasizes the assessment of candidates' innovative abilities, practical skills, and comprehensive qualities. How to scientifically and effectively explore the patterns of the new college entrance examination (Gaokao) to achieve the best educational output with the least input, and to obtain outstanding Gaokao scores to enter prestigious universities, is not only the dream of countless students but also the constant pursuit of educators nationwide. In response to this, our school has once again collaborated with Longmen Publishing House to scientifically plan and organize a series of comprehensive review books, including the "Qidong Middle School Real Practice for the Middle School Entrance Examination" and the "Qidong Middle School Real Practice for the Gaokao."
This series is our first collaboration with the national-level publishing house—Longmen Publishing House—to publish a comprehensive review book for the middle school and high school entrance examinations. This series is meticulously crafted by the teaching staff of Qidong Middle School, who have created the "educational miracle" of Qidong Middle School, systematically summarizing the intellectual achievements of our school's frontline senior teachers and gold medal coaches in teaching and review guidance over the years, especially since the "3X" Gaokao reform. It effectively addresses the hot educational issue of how to scientifically and effectively improve students' knowledge and ability levels and examination-taking skills under the new Gaokao system. It will also enable our school's high-quality educational resources to be more widely promoted and utilized, allowing teachers and students from other schools across the country to share in the "real practice" of Qidong Middle School. At the same time, we will do our best to contribute to China's basic education and the practical experiences of the new curriculum and examination reforms.
During the actual writing process, the middle school examination is divided into 2 rounds, while the Gaokao is divided into 3 rounds, aligning with the teaching and review progress of junior and senior high schools. The "Real Practice for the Middle School Entrance Examination" includes 6 subjects in each round: Chinese, mathematics, English, physics, chemistry, and politics. The "Real Practice for the Gaokao" includes 9 subjects in each round: Chinese, mathematics, English, physics, chemistry, biology, politics, history, and geography, with the third round also including two comprehensive booklets: "Comprehensive for Liberal Arts" and "Comprehensive for Science." In each round, the subject books are divided into A and B companion volumes for synchronous intensive training. It can be said that this series is an invaluable practical textbook for middle and high school entrance examinations.
First round—Basic Edition: Written chapter by chapter or unit by unit, with a focus on interpreting the key points of the new "Examination Guidelines" for the middle school entrance examination. It is accompanied by a large number of detailed examples.
Second round—Ability Edition: Divided into thematic lectures and intensive training, primarily aimed at cultivating and improving students' comprehensive abilities, application skills, and innovative thinking. It also includes interdisciplinary comprehensive thematic lectures and intensive training.
Third round—Final Sprint Edition: Designed for candidates to simulate, warm up, and sprint in April and May. Each sub-book meticulously compiles 12-15 middle and high school entrance examination simulation papers, scientifically constructing the new platform for training aligned with the "three exams" (middle school entrance examination, Gaokao, and examination points), to achieve the guiding effect of zero-distance contact with the 2005 middle and high school entrance examinations.
The writing of each sub-book in each round of this series has been infused with the wisdom of dozens of frontline junior and senior high school teachers from our school. Starting from cultivating students' innovative and practical abilities, a large number of questions have been meticulously selected, refined, and analyzed. Through collective lesson preparation, continuous refinement, careful consideration, and thorough integration, we have achieved a balance between originality and classics, striving to make each volume fully adapted to the requirements of the new middle and high school entrance examinations. We hope that the "Qidong Middle School Real Practice for the Middle School Entrance Examination" and the "Qidong Middle School Real Practice for the Gaokao" can truly become a green passageway for candidates to successfully enter university.

The sample questions for the middle and high school entrance examinations selected in this series, as well as the predictions for the actual examination questions, are scientifically and standardized questions extracted from a vast sea of questions. Combined with the school teachers' new original questions, they possess extremely high value and are authoritative, guiding, and targeted.
