Features: The International Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) is a global examination organized by the Japan Foundation and the Japan Educational Exchanges and Services, possessing absolute authority. The certificates obtained through the test are recognized both domestically and internationally. The test levels, ranging from easier to more difficult, are Level 4, Level 3, Level 2, and Level 1. The test content is divided into three sections: "Vocabulary and Grammar," "Listening," and "Reading and Grammar." This book is specifically designed for Level 3 and Level 4 test-takers to study and master the "Vocabulary and Grammar" section. Based on the requirements of the Japan Foundation and the Japan Educational Exchanges and Services' newly revised and published "JLPT Test Specifications" in 2002, and referencing the actual test questions from previous years, this book includes over 6,000 vocabulary items that have appeared in the Level 3 and Level 4 exams. To help test-takers familiarize themselves with the question formats and assess their Japanese proficiency, we have included the full past papers and standard answers for the "Vocabulary and Grammar" section of the JLPT Level 3 and Level 4 from 1999 to 2004 in the appendix. We hope this book will be helpful for students and working professionals studying Japanese or preparing for various Japanese proficiency tests, including those for academic examinations.
