Features: To promote the traditional Chinese medicine of our country and meet the needs of a broad range of TCM practitioners and enthusiasts, a group of TCM experts were specially organized to rigorously select and comprehensively compile various versions, publishing the "Classics of Medical Classics Series." The principles of editing are as follows:
1. Modern punctuation methods are adopted to re-segment the original text.
2. Obvious typographical errors in the original text are corrected. Variant characters, archaic characters, homophones, and colloquial characters are simplified while preserving the original book's integrity.
3. Prescriptions in the original text are re-formatted according to modern conventions: [Indications], [Formula], [Usage], [Explanation]. The directional terms "left, right" in the original text are uniformly changed to "upper, lower."
4. To maintain the original appearance of the source text, no changes are made to the dosage of medicinal ingredients. For heavily dosed toxic drugs, please refer to modern dosages. Certain banned animal-derived drugs, such as rhino horn, tiger bone, and musk, should be replaced with modern alternatives.
5. Where discrepancies exist between various source texts and collations, as multiple source texts were referenced, the collation does not provide explanations.
