Features: To better reflect the current development status of concrete technology in standard specifications, improve the quality of concrete standard specification formulation, and better serve China's engineering construction, the China Academy of Building Research successfully held the first National Concrete Standard Specification Academic Symposium from October 20th to 23rd, 2005, in Kunming, Yunnan Province. The conference was organized by the Institute of Building Materials and Products, China Academy of Building Research, the Standard Specification Research Center of China Academy of Building Research, and the Concrete Structure Professional Committee of the China Association for Engineering Construction Standardization. The conference focused on introducing the latest developments in the formulation and revision of concrete standard specifications and discussing the technical content of standard specifications and related application technologies. Over 300 representatives engaged in concrete research, teaching, production, construction, design, testing, inspection, quality supervision, and other fields attended the conference, along with representatives from Japan and regions such as Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao. A total of more than 130 papers were submitted, and to expand the exchange, some selected keynote speeches and papers were carefully compiled into the collection titled "Concrete Standard Specifications and Engineering Applications." The content of the book covers concrete standard specifications, testing methods, theoretical research, and engineering applications.
