Features: The newly released "Manual" has undergone significant adjustments in structure and content. Most chapters have been revised and expanded. The "Concrete Hollow Blocks" section has been added to Chapter 1; the "Autoclaved Aerated Concrete Blocks" section in Chapter 2 has been rewritten; in Chapter 3, in addition to rewriting the "Autoclaved Aerated Concrete Slabs" section, numerous new contents have been added, with a focus on supplementing the "Wooden Wall Panels" section. This is because wooden wall materials align with the principles of circular economy, and many countries worldwide are actively developing wooden walling systems. China has begun to emphasize the promotion and application of wooden walls, so this "Manual" has included more content on "Wooden Wall Panels." In Chapter 4, the "EPS Thin Exterior Wall Insulation System" has been added; in Chapter 6, the "Adhesive Plaster" section has been included, among others. The "Manual" still highlights the following three features:
1. Comprehensiveness. The "Manual" introduces nearly 90 varieties across 6 major categories of walling materials, including bricks, blocks, lightweight wall panels, composite wall panels and walls, thermal insulation materials, and materials, covering the majority of walling products. Each product's content includes an overview, production processes, specifications, performance, and construction applications.
2. Novelty. New walling materials, production processes, and construction application technologies that have emerged in recent years, both domestically and internationally, are also introduced in the "Manual."
3. Guidance. For common issues in walling material innovation and building energy efficiency, the "Manual" provides clear and easy-to-understand explanations and answers in a Q&A format, offering practical guidance.
