Decision Support System and Knowledge Management System

Features: At the time of initiating the writing of this book, there were already various textbooks on Decision Support Systems (DSS) available in the market. However, most of the popular textbooks currently are foreign ones, with content that lacks systematicity and a certain gap from the real-world situation in China, failing to adequately meet the learning needs of Chinese students. One of the fundamental concepts behind writing this book is to cater to the requirements of Chinese students, systematically introducing essential theories, operational methods, and practical applications of Decision Support Systems (DSS) and Knowledge Management Systems (KMS). While introducing advanced theoretical research findings from abroad, the book also emphasizes providing detailed and comprehensive descriptions of the foundational knowledge and application status in this field in accurate and clear Chinese, transforming them into knowledge that Chinese students are more inclined to learn and absorb. This book is suitable as a textbook for undergraduate students in the field of Management Information Systems, as well as a teaching reference for MBA and graduate students. The book consists of 14 chapters, with the first 11 chapters covering the theory and practice of Decision Support Systems (DSS), and the last 3 chapters introducing Knowledge Management Systems. Since the content of Decision Support Systems (DSS) and Knowledge Management Systems (KMS) is relatively independent, parts of the book can also be used separately based on teaching needs. The first 11 chapters were written by Li Dong, while the last 3 chapters were authored by Cai Jian. Li Dong later adjusted and revised the content of each chapter to ensure uniformity throughout the book. This textbook was selected as a key textbook for the "11th Five-Year Plan" by the Ministry of Education.
