Features: The "Special Selection Series for Gaokao English" is compiled based on the secondary school English teaching syllabus formulated by the Ministry of Education of China and the National College Entrance Examination guidelines, while also incorporating the content of secondary school English textbooks. Our goal is to help senior high school students prepare effectively for the exam, quickly improve their test-taking skills, and achieve ideal results in the Gaokao. This series consists of 6 volumes, written according to the Gaokao English question types. This volume is titled "Conquering Multiple Choice." In recent years, the Gaokao English exam's "Multiple Choice" section has become more flexible, not only testing students' foundational English knowledge but also shifting focus to their ability to understand and apply language. In other words, students must not only master solid foundational knowledge but also possess the ability to use this knowledge to analyze and solve problems. Given this, this volume includes English foundational knowledge in the section, which is carefully arranged based on the "Practice—Theory—Practice" principle. We hope students complete each question in order according to the book's sequence, then compare their answers or hints to identify mistakes. It's not enough to just know the correct answer; it's more important to understand why it's correct. For questions they don't understand, they should either consult teachers or classmates or refer to relevant materials.
