Features: In the treatment of orthopedic diseases, surgery remains an important therapeutic approach, and the quality of surgery is directly related to the treatment outcome. Therefore, orthopedic surgeons must pay attention to every detail of surgical procedures. In recent years, orthopedics has seen rapid advancements, with new technologies, instruments, and surgical techniques continuously emerging. Some have become mainstream and routine in clinical practice. Given these circumstances, the authors, with clinical practice as the starting point, have compiled the "Practical Orthopedic Surgical Color Atlas" after reviewing a large number of domestic and international literature and combining their decades of clinical experience. This book is an expansion and revision of the original "Surgical Color Atlas," with new content added and published as an independent volume. It focuses on spinal surgery, the treatment of bone and joint injuries, nerve injury repair, artificial joint replacement, surgical management of bone infection and tuberculosis, bone tumors and amputation, among other key surgical techniques. It also covers orthopedic surgery and microsurgery, with additional new surgical methods introduced in recent years for clinical reference. The book's features include a strong emphasis on visuals, clear and concise language, and a high degree of practicality. The color atlas presentations of surgical methods are vivid, have clear contrasts, and provide intuitive illustrations, which better highlight tissue layers and anatomical relationships during surgery. The text briefly introduces indications, preoperative preparation, anesthesia, positioning, and surgical steps, facilitating preoperative consultation and enabling readers to quickly grasp the key points of the procedures. In the main text and illustrations, the names of surgical procedures and important anatomical structures are annotated with English terms after the Chinese names. This greatly helps improve the English proficiency and surgical skill of young and middle-aged doctors. This book is a reference tool for clinical orthopedic surgeons.
