Features: "Literati painting" is a comprehensive embodiment of ancient Chinese civilization in painting (see the special issue on Chinese painting theory in "Du Yun" magazine, Issue 21, total number 21, published by Shanghai Shuxue Press in January 1989, where the author wrote "Random Talks on Painting Studies"). Therefore, organizing and writing a history of "literati painting" is not only a supplement and enhancement to the history of Chinese art, the history of Chinese painting, and the history of Chinese painting, but also a practical contribution to promoting national culture. Especially today, when traditional Chinese painting faces the so-called "dead end," focusing on artistic temperament and valuing the rules of brushwork and ink as the foundation, as well as the aesthetic pursuit of spiritual resemblance, not only holds historical cultural significance but also carries practical aesthetic educational value: on one hand, the refined and warm artistic sentiment of "literati painting" brings joy and relaxation to modern people who are stressed from study and work. On the other hand, this excellent national cultural heritage serves as an excellent teaching material for patriotism education.
