Features: Ecological conservation is an activity where humans, guided by ecological science, consciously adopt certain strategies and measures to protect the ecological environment in accordance with ecological laws. The key to ecological conservation lies in applying ecological theories and methods to study and solve the problems arising from the mutual influence between humans and the ecological environment, as well as to coordinate the relationships between humans and the biosphere. Ecological conservation primarily addresses ecological destruction. Ecological destruction is mainly caused by human activities, such as deforestation, soil erosion, desertification, overfishing, and biodiversity loss. From this perspective, it differs significantly from environmental pollution. Environmental pollution refers to the adverse effects and impacts on the environment caused by the substances or energy released by human activities, including air pollution, water pollution, noise pollution, and thermal pollution.
