Editor's Note: The publication notice for this series of books: Since the first batch of Mathematics Learning Theory was published in March 1991, it has been six years. If we count from the beginning of the compilation activities for the series of books on mathematics teaching theory in early 1988, it has been nine years. Now, the teaching theory series for the five main subjects—mathematics, physics, chemistry, Chinese, and foreign languages—have been completed, forming a coherent set. Each subject has six books, totaling 30 books, named the Modern Educational Theory Series for Disciplines. With tens of millions of words, it has formed the basic theoretical research of fundamental disciplines and also serves as the core project and basic publishing characteristic of our press. In nearly a decade, we have constructed a series of educational theory books that strive to embody Chinese characteristics.
