Features: This book—its first half is currently being published—will combine historical methods with a systematic approach to establish as firmly as possible the philosophical foundation of the humanities. By tracing the historical development of philosophical efforts through historical methods, it aims to provide a foundation that determines the historical context of individual theories in this development and evaluates their historical significance. Indeed, by penetrating this developmental body, the historical approach seeks to identify the intrinsic impulse of contemporary science. In this way, historical statements lay the groundwork for the epistemological foundation, which will be the theme of the second half of this study.
