Basic Guidance on Employment Skills: Textbook designated by the Training and Employment Department of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security

Features: In May 2003, the Ministry of Labor and Social Security decided to implement career guidance work comprehensively in technical schools, employment training centers, and vocational training institutions across the country, officially promulgating the "Career Guidance Teaching and Training Syllabus" (hereinafter referred to as the Syllabus) and designating it as a compulsory course. To fully implement the requirements of the Syllabus, the Training and Employment Department of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, along with the China Employment Training and Technical Guidance Center, organized the compilation of the "Career Guidance Teaching and Training Series" (hereinafter referred to as the Series) as supplementary teaching materials for the Syllabus. The Series consists of six volumes, divided into teacher and student books. The teacher books include "Career Guidance Teaching and Training Guidance Manual" and "Career Guidance Teaching and Training Introduction and Preparation." The student books include "Guidance on Careers and Employment Policies," "Career Awareness Training and Guidance," "Basic Guidance on Employment Skills," and "Basic Guidance on Entrepreneurship Skills." The teacher books provide a detailed introduction to the objectives, basic approach, requirements, structure, and procedures, methods, and means of career guidance teaching and training, striving to be easy to master, operate, and promote. The student books are richly illustrated, integrating knowledge, cases, rules, and suggestions, aiming to the greatest extent to assist students in employment and promote their career development, emphasizing experience, practice, and practical results.
