Features: Aesthetic education is an important part of cultivating well-rounded socialist construction talents. To meet the needs of implementing aesthetic education in secondary vocational schools, the Vocational Education Department of the State Education Commission organized the writing of the "Teaching Syllabus for Aesthetic Education (Trial)" for general secondary vocational schools (non-art majors) in October 1990 and commissioned the author to write and edit this textbook based on the syllabus. This textbook balances the scientificity and depth of theory while also considering the current level of secondary vocational students.
