Features: The Public Health Master (MPH) program training plan was implemented nationwide starting in 2002. According to the plan, working professionals who meet the application requirements and are engaged in public health or related fields must pass a national joint examination for admission, with selection based on performance. The professional examination subjects are Epidemiology and Health Statistics, and Health Service Management. The MPH entrance examination helps ensure the quality of MPH graduate students and improves the training level of MPH graduates. As the primary institution for MPH program training in China, the School of Public Health at Fudan University places great importance on this training work. To assist examinees in preparing for the exam and reviewing previously studied courses, more than 10 teachers from the School of Public Health—Epidemiology, Health Statistics, and Health Service Management—have selected and compiled this "Public Health Master (MPH) Professional Degree Entrance Examination Syllabus and Exercises" based on the "Public Health Master Entrance Professional Examination Syllabus." The content covers the MPH entrance examination syllabus as well as exercises required for the professional examination in subjects such as Epidemiology and Health Statistics, and Health Service Management. The reference answers are designed to be comprehensive and accurate. The teachers who participated in the compilation are those who have long been engaged in teaching and research, with extensive teaching experience and familiarity with the required level for MPH admission, as well as expertise in exam-related matters such as question setting, test paper compilation, grading, and scoring. This exercise book primarily adopts multiple-choice questions, true/false questions, term definitions, short-answer questions, comprehensive discussion questions, and case analysis, with multiple-choice questions further categorized into A-type questions (best choice), B-type and C-type questions (matching questions), and X-type questions (multiple-choice questions). After each subject's exercises, relevant reference answers are provided. This exercise book focuses on assessing readers' understanding of key content from different perspectives and using various question types. It can also serve as a guide for medical college students taking graduation exams or applying for postgraduate studies, as well as a teaching supplement and a reference for public health physician qualification exams and promotions.
