Features: Enduring for millennia, societal transformation. Today's Buddhism is the forward march after 2,500 years of (wind and rain vicissitudes), the blood connection after 2,500 years of peaceful propagation, the renewed brilliance after 2,500 years of splendor, and even more the passing of the torch of five thousand years of historical and cultural heritage. The past journey has proven that Buddhism is the religion of wisdom, the religion of compassion, the religion of peace, dedicated to purifying the human mind, elevating morality, and ensuring social stability. In the new millennium, the Buddhist community must uphold "loving the country and the faith, uniting and progressing," follow the teachings of the Buddha, adhere to the principles of correct belief, "abstain from all evil and practice all good," and continue the direction of Humanistic Buddhism, achieving "the wheel of Dharma always turning, the lamp of wisdom always shining." Today's Sangha will propagate the Dharma through culture, cultivate talent through education, repay society through compassion, and purify the human mind through meditation, all for the purpose of "adorning the land and benefiting all sentient beings." For this, the author is willing to make the utmost effort.
