Features: This book was written progressively from 1946 to 1993, containing two types of articles. One type is biographical in nature, mostly arguing separately for a particular historian or historical work, with substantial content, but only 18 pieces can be included here. The other type is general in nature, mostly arguing separately for certain aspects of the history of historiography, with some new perspectives, and 18 pieces have also been included. The study of the history of Chinese historiography is still in the construction phase, and most of the published works carry an exploratory nature. We look forward to the guidance of our colleagues.
