Features: This book is a newly launched Japanese testing format in China. It differs from the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) aimed at Japanese language learners studying abroad, as it is an examination designed to assess practical application skills. This test was established in 1991 by the Japan Language Proficiency Testing Society, affiliated with the Tokyo-based Japan Language Research Institute. Initially, it was limited to Japan, with participants primarily foreign workers employed in Japan and business personnel from embassies and other institutions. As the popularity and importance of the J.TEST test have grown, an increasing number of people have been eager to register for it. Due to the relatively short time the test has been available in China, there are currently no related study materials or preparatory guides domestically.
Shanghai Normal University's School of Foreign Languages, as the first institution in China entrusted by the Japanese side to organize the test, has organized professional teachers to thoroughly study the exam questions. Based on the issues encountered during pre-examination tutoring, they have compiled this set of mock tests to assist candidates in their preparation. The book includes 20 mock tests, tailored to the question types and content of the written exam.
