Features: The abacus and mental arithmetic were created and invented by our ancestors, representing an excellent cultural heritage of the Chinese nation. "Mental arithmetic with the abacus" (also known as "brain-speed calculation") is a rapid calculation method that utilizes numerical and computational patterns, imagining the movement of abacus beads in the mind to directly obtain answers. After the film "China's Prodigy" was released in Taiyuan in 1985, abacus mental arithmetic education in China gradually expanded from Shanxi, Shaanxi, Henan, and Jilin to the entire country. In 1990, Teacher Chen Zijing revised the primary school textbook "Rapid Calculation with Three Methods" into "Early Childhood Four Methods, Learning with Joy," which brought a revolution in the history of abacus development. He enhanced the intelligence-developing function of the abacus beyond its traditional computational role. In recent years, abacus mental arithmetic education has not only developed rapidly in all provinces and cities of China but has also been implemented in kindergartens and primary schools in countries such as Japan, Malaysia, and India. On October 28, 2002, the World Abacus and Mental Arithmetic Federation was established in Beijing, promoting the development of China's abacus mental arithmetic industry.
"Calculator" "Children's Abacus Mental Arithmetic" compiles decades of teaching experience from rapid calculation expert Professor Chen Zijing, known as the "Chen Method": "one stroke clear, one glance clear, one voice clear, one plate clear."
