Orthopedic Literature Studies is a discipline that examines the academic origins, publication backgrounds, author biographies, academic thoughts, influences on later generations, and versions of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) orthopedics. This textbook aims to enhance students' theoretical understanding of TCM orthopedics, cultivate their ability to read ancient orthopedic texts, and holds significant value in distinguishing the origins of literature and the characteristics of various orthopedic schools. The textbook selects important TCM orthopedic documents, arranges them in chronological order, and divides them into five categories: specialized TCM orthopedics texts, orthopedic literature within TCM specialized texts, orthopedic school literature, orthopedic case studies and discussions, as well as other TCM orthopedic conditions and documents. It also introduces Japan's Zhengguo Fan. The intended readers of this textbook are master's and doctoral students in orthopedics, as well as physicians, teachers, and other researchers engaged in orthopedic medical practice, teaching, and research, who may use it as a reference.
