Patient's question:
Doctor, hello. I went to the hospital today for a thorough examination, and the results said I have cervical inflammation with mild erosion and small bubbles on the cervix.Doctor's answer:
Physical therapy is a widely used treatment method that offers the advantages of a short course and good efficacy. It is suitable for patients with large areas of erosion and deep inflammatory infiltration. Common methods include electrocautery, laser therapy, and cryotherapy. Electrocautery is best performed 3 to 7 days after menstruation. During treatment, the electrocautery tip is applied to the eroded surface with slight pressure and moved rapidly inwards and outwards from left to right until it is slightly lower than the eroded surface. Laser therapy involves the flexible use of laser to carbonize and form scabs on the eroded tissue. Scabs typically fall off about 3 weeks after the procedure, and healthy squamous epithelium grows over the wound.
