Features: This book is a masterpiece by the renowned Russian writer Kuprin. He believes that "the greatest evil among all evils is the trade in women's flesh." With his vivid and flowing pen, he portrays a series of lifelike portraits of prostitutes. These women, though different in experience, appearance, and education, remain women regardless of their degradation or vulgarity. Some of them shine brightly, elegant and beautiful; some are innocent and lively; others are graceful and magnanimous.
