Features: Exams are important means of teaching evaluation, as they can objectively assess the knowledge structure and abilities of examinees. The series is designed according to the depth, breadth, and difficulty of the Ministry-mandated teaching syllabus and postgraduate entrance examination syllabus. It pays attention to testing readers' understanding of key content in textbooks from different perspectives and using various question types. Thus, it can serve as a guidebook for medical college students taking fundamental medical graduation exams and for those applying to medical graduate programs, as well as a teaching aid for instructors and a reference for clinical doctors taking national physician qualification exams and for career advancement. Hunan Medical University is one of the earliest medical colleges in China to introduce the multiple-choice question exam method. It has consistently ranked among the top performers in the national multiple-choice question exams and joint exams organized by the Ministry of Health, accumulating extensive experience in question creation. After the "Clinical Medicine Multiple-Choice Question Series" and the "Clinical Nursing Multiple-Choice Question Series," edited by Hunan Medical University, were published, they received praise from readers across the country. To help medical college students and clinical physicians systematically review the content of fundamental medical courses, grasp key and challenging points, we have organized experts and professors from Hunan Medical University who have long been engaged in teaching to compile this "Fundamental Medical Multiple-Choice Question Series." The series is based on the teaching syllabus issued by the Ministry of Health and uses the latest unified textbooks for higher medical colleges as a reference, while also incorporating the requirements for foundational subjects in medical postgraduate entrance exams. The first volume includes three sub-books: Biochemistry, Physiology, and Pathology, totaling 9,000 questions. The second volume includes eight sub-books: Systematic Anatomy, Regional Anatomy, Histology and Embryology, Medical Microbiology, Medical Immunology, Pathophysiology, Pharmacology, and Preventive Medicine, with a total of 20,000 questions, including over 3,100 questions in the Pharmacology sub-book. Questions are arranged in formats A1, A2, B, C, and X, with standard answers provided after each chapter. Selected difficult questions are annotated to help readers deeply understand the relevant textbook content in conjunction with the questions, thereby improving their analytical and problem-solving skills for exams.
