Features: This is the second edition. The first edition was compiled based on the teaching for higher mathematics in higher industrial schools promulgated by the Higher Education Ministry in 1954. This edition has been revised according to the current "Teaching for Higher Mathematics (Basic Part)" (Trial Draft) reviewed and approved by the Editorial Committee for Higher Mathematics Courses in Higher Industrial Schools in 1962. The book is divided into two volumes: Volume 1 includes Analytic Geometry, Functions and Limits, and the Differential and Integral Calculus of Univariate Functions. The compilation and revision work of this book have been successively carried out by Fan Yingchuan, Zhang Guolong, Lu Zhenbang, Hou Xizhong, Fang Shushu, Wang Fuying, Wang Jiashan, Chen Xiongnan, and Jing Zhenkun.
