Book Description:
In recent years, with the continuous deepening of quality education and the development of social music education, piano education has become increasingly important. The piano possesses the characteristics of a wide dynamic range, strong volume, and rich tonal variation, allowing it to perform large-scale multi-voice musical works that are roughly equivalent to an entire orchestra—a level unmatched by most other instruments. With the rapid development of the economy, the popularity of the piano has grown, and in the widely conducted mass cultural activities, the piano is particularly common as the primary accompanying instrument. It is an ideal solo and accompanying instrument for modern music social events.
For a long time, higher normal universities in China have continued to adopt outdated teaching models and curricula, with a focus on improving students' performance skills. Although considerable efforts have been made in piano accompaniment teaching, the students produced still generally lack comprehensive keyboard application skills. This textbook is designed to meet the practical needs of music talent across various strata in China, combining the current state of vocal teaching in higher normal universities. It uses commonly used vocal teaching pieces as the basic training content to resolve the long-standing contradiction between piano teaching and vocal teaching content, transforming higher normal university piano teaching from a skill-based approach to a practical one.
This textbook features the following:
1. Combines piano accompaniment and vocal teaching materials into one.
2. Summarizes and generalizes the theory and technical requirements for improvisational accompaniment, providing harmonic treatments for the selected simple notation songs, making it easier for teachers and students to use.
