Features: Globalization has arrived with the world of media, beginning to shake the human race. From the perspective of media, people see how truth contends with evil, various voices are amplified, and humanity demonstrates an increasing number of shared ideas in many fields. As the primary form of global nation media, globalization media not only possesses the magic to change society but also has an irresistible potential to alter human nature. International narratives, spanning history and culture, like life itself, voice their presence in every corner. News narratives are seen as statements of causally linked events, like a string of pearls, allowing people to see a delicate and diverse world. The visual representation of news is changing the format of news in the media. Ideologies that appeal to alienation, even if used occasionally, are enough to erode the media's image of justice. Only when audiences readily accept news texts can its ideology find a foothold. This is not always in line with the media's wishes, and the disappointing effects of communication often occur. In many countries, the professionalism of journalism faces dual threats from commercial interests or arbitrary manipulation by political forces. Some journalists have become profit-driven merchants and slaves of discourse at the mercy of others. The entire society's reverence for the profession of journalism and their awe for the immense power they hold have made a few journalists complacent, weakening their sense of social responsibility. This book discusses 11 cutting-edge issues currently being addressed in journalism, expanding on them with 21st-century concepts, aiming to reveal some of the challenges in news reporting. It offers new perspectives on existing topics, striving for fresh analysis. As for topics like "Media Mirror," "Distorted News Perception," "Media Productivity," and "Global Nation Media," which have not yet been systematically explored by academia and the industry, it also hopes to serve as a catalyst for further research, sparking people's enthusiasm for study. This book is compiled based on the author's graduate teaching, making it suitable as a textbook for senior undergraduate and graduate students in journalism, as well as a reference for news professionals.
