Features: It is commonly believed that economic actors are driven by economic interests. In reality, any economic actor pursues not a single economic interest but a comprehensive economic interest. This book first proposes the category of comprehensive economic interest, arguing that it encompasses various aspects such as the comprehensive economic interest of the subject, the comprehensive economic interest of the object, the comprehensive economic interest of the social production process, the comprehensive economic interest of time, and the comprehensive economic interest of space. Comprehensive economic interest is formed through the multi-layer coupling of various forms of economic interests. The coupling mechanisms of comprehensive economic interest include market coupling mechanisms and planned coupling mechanisms. The coupling of comprehensive economic interest is realized through the mediating structure of productive forces and productive relations, as well as the economic base and superstructure. In the process of achieving coupling through this mediating structure, comprehensive economic interest simultaneously plays a dual role as both a driving force for economic operation and economic development.
