Features: According to the spirit of the newly promulgated "Full-Time Senior High School Chinese Teaching Syllabus" (Trial Revision Edition) by the Ministry of Education, the "Full-Time Senior High School Textbook (Trial Revision Edition) · Chinese" was introduced nationwide starting in the fall of 2000. To help teachers and students better understand and grasp the classical Chinese poems and articles in the textbook, cultivate the ability to read classical Chinese, and improve their appreciation and evaluation of ancient literary works, we gathered efforts from various parties and meticulously organized the writing of this series of books. The series is divided into three volumes: Grade 10 (one volume); Grade 11 (one volume); Grade 12 (one volume). Grade 10 (one volume) includes the textbook and all classical Chinese poems and articles from the second volume. Grade 11 (one volume) includes all classical Chinese poems and articles from the third and fourth volumes of the textbook. Grade 12 (one volume) includes all classical Chinese poems and articles from the fifth and sixth volumes of the textbook. The series is compiled closely following the requirements of the "Syllabus." For each classical Chinese poem or article included, three parts are designed: introduction, comparative translation and annotation, and analysis.
Introduction Section: Explains the source of the text, briefly introduces the author's life and works, analyzes the writing background of the text, and guides relevant reading questions.
Comparative Translation and Annotation Section: Arranges the original text at the top and the translation below, separated by a horizontal line for clear and intuitive comparison. For more challenging classical Chinese words, phrases, and special sentence structures, they are explained in detail, including pronunciation correction, form differentiation, annotations, and explanations, striving for thoroughness and accuracy. Additionally, summaries and comments are provided at the end of each paragraph.
Analysis Section: Primarily analyzes the organizational structure, hierarchical relationships, ideological content, and writing characteristics of the text, presented concisely and highlighting key points.
