Features: Adult higher education is an important part of China's higher education, cultivating and training millions of specialized talents, and comprehensively promoting quality-oriented education. It serves a wide range of working professionals, contributing to local social and economic development, which is the main task of adult higher education. In recent years, China's higher education has entered a new stage of mass education, and the development of adult higher education as well as the composition of its student body have undergone significant changes. In response to these new circumstances, the Ministry of Education, after conducting research and soliciting opinions from relevant experts, revised the "National General Adult Higher Education Institutions Enrollment Review and Examination Syllabus" (hereinafter referred to as "the Syllabus") issued in 2002. The revised Syllabus fully considers the diverse educational backgrounds of adult examinees and places greater emphasis on assessing their grasp of fundamental knowledge, as well as their practical abilities in analyzing and solving problems. The new Syllabus is divided into two parts: senior high school entry to undergraduate or junior college, and junior college entry to undergraduate. The senior high school entry to undergraduate or junior college Syllabus includes eight subjects: Chinese, Chinese (for ethnic minority areas where ethnic languages are used in teaching, and for ethnic minority examinees applying to adult higher education institutions that use Chinese for teaching), mathematics, English, Japanese, Russian, physics and chemistry, and history and geography. It is published in one volume by the People's Education Press and the Higher Education Press. The junior college entry to undergraduate Syllabus includes ten subjects: English, politics, college Chinese, introduction to art, higher mathematics (I), higher mathematics (II), civil law, educational theory, fundamentals of ecology, and medical comprehensive. To facilitate the review of examinees applying for different disciplines, it is published in five volumes by the Higher Education Press. The Syllabus is intended for examinees participating in the adult college entrance examination in October 2005 for enrollment in the spring of 2006. This volume is the review and examination Syllabus for junior college entry to undergraduate agriculture and medicine, designed for examinees with junior college graduation qualifications who are applying for agriculture and medicine (excluding traditional Chinese medicine and pharmacy) majors.
