Features: This book is divided into eleven chapters. The first four chapters provide a brief anatomical dissection and imaging evaluation. A key addition is the chapter on "Collateral Compensation After Arterial Occlusion," as we have found that collateral compensation is another mystery and intrinsic regulation of the brain circulation. With this regulation, success is achieved more efficiently; otherwise, things may go awry. It also emphasizes the crucial role of vascular anatomy in interventional therapy. Chapters five to ten cover various procedural techniques, repeatedly highlighting the indications for each technique and preoperative and postoperative management. Interventional therapists are not merely skilled technicians but also meticulous clinical scientists. Even the most advanced techniques can be wasted if preoperative and postoperative management is inadequate, which is particularly important in the interventional treatment of ischemic cerebrovascular diseases. The eleventh chapter collects several vascular imaging scenes of Moyamoya disease. The diversity of changes in Moyamoya disease has been more than anticipated, and we have observed them in over 400 angiographic cases. Reviewing these materials and the literature has given us many new insights, which we dedicate to our colleagues.
