Modern logistics, as an advanced organizational approach and management technology, is widely regarded as the third profit source for enterprises, playing a significant role in national economy and social development. This book is compiled based on the current state of China's logistics industry and references relevant textbooks and research findings from domestic and international fields. It is divided into three parts: Part One: Introduction, which primarily introduces the basic concepts, functions, and fundamental principles of logistics, the emergence and development of logistics, logistics systems and their composition, and basic logistics models. Part Two: Specific Operations, which discusses fundamental logistics operation issues based on basic logistics requirements and functions, explores logistics from the perspective of enterprises (manufacturing), and introduces logistics in social circulation from the perspective of socio-economic activities. Part Three: Logistics Management, mainly covering the fundamental principles of logistics management, logistics organization and control, and logistics and supply chain management.
