Hua Shu Aoshu Textbook · Elementary School Mathematics Grade 5

Author: Dan Tian, Editor-in-Chief
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2005-02-01
Features: In each printing, we have made some revisions based on reader feedback. Now, the publisher has decided to republish this textbook series, and we have taken this opportunity to conduct a more comprehensive and thorough revision. The revision mainly focuses on two aspects: 1. Scientific Accuracy. We have corrected many errors and strived for "rigor" and "accuracy," aiming to avoid any scientific mistakes and hope to live up to readers' praise: "Flip through the 'Hua Shu Olympiad Textbook,' and you'll know it's reliable." 2. Readability. This revision has removed overly difficult or irrelevant problems and content (e.g., permutation and combination formulas for fourth graders) that exceeds actual learning levels. The language has also been made as simple and clear as possible. Of course, some features of the version remain unchanged, and no further explanation is needed here.
At the same time, to maximize students' enthusiasm for learning, cultivate their interest, assess their progress, and ensure this textbook series fulfills its intended role, we have newly compiled two companion books: "Hua Shu Olympiad Intensive Training" and "Hua Shu Olympiad Comprehensive Tests." Students who have the opportunity are encouraged to use these books in conjunction with the main textbook, as they will achieve unexpected results.
