Features: Pan Zhichang, born in 1956, is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Journalism and Communication, Nanjing University. He was specially appointed as an associate professor in 1988 and as a professor in 1993. From 1992 to 1999, he served as the director of the Nanjing University Corporate Image Research Center. He has also held various positions, including associate editor of Aesthetics and Literary Studies, committee member of the Central Committee of the China Democratic League, member of the China Youth Federation, council member of the Chinese Aesthetic Society, council member of the Chinese Literary Theory Society, council member of the Chinese Radio Audience Research Association, vice president of the Chinese Youth Aesthetic Research Association, and vice president of the Jiangsu Aesthetic Society. He has published 15 academic books, edited 5, and authored over 100 academic papers both domestically and internationally. In 1989, he was honored as a youth elite in Henan and Zhengzhou provinces and awarded the title of "Honorable Title." In 1992, he was approved as an expert enjoying the "Special Allowance of the State Council."
