Features: Professor Hua Luogeng (1910-1984) was a great mathematician of this century. His influence on China's mathematics community was extremely significant, and in a certain sense, it can be said, "Without Hua Luogeng, there would be no modern Chinese mathematics." Professor Hua not only achieved an internationally first-class level in mathematical research but was also dedicated to mathematical popularization and talent cultivation. He personally wrote many popular mathematical books, initiated and led China's mathematical competitions. He also gave lectures to young people, introducing his own experiences and insights. Professor Hua was a role model for young learners, and his spirit of "diligence and perseverance, constantly striving for self-improvement" has always inspired young people to strive forward. To commemorate Professor Hua Luogeng, there is a Hua Luogeng Middle School in his hometown, Jin Tan, Jiangsu, and since 1985, the Hua Luogeng Cup Junior Mathematics Invitational Competition (hereinafter referred to as the "Hua Cup Competition") has been held nationwide. This series of teaching materials, originally titled Hua Luogeng Mathematical Olympiad Textbooks, was later revised and shortened to Hua Math Olympiad Textbooks, all published in memory of Professor Hua Luogeng. This series of textbooks was written by primary, secondary, and university teachers from Jiangsu Province and Jin Tan City who are engaged in mathematical competition training. Among them are doctoral supervisors, professors, distinguished teachers, principals, teaching researchers, and coaches for the "Hua Cup Competition." It can provide systematic and comprehensive training for various mathematical competitions, improving students' mathematical abilities from an early age, and is highly targeted and practical, especially suitable for the "Hua Cup Competition." This textbook can be used for classroom teaching in mathematical interest schools and various Olympiad schools. Each volume is designed for one grade level. Each volume is divided into two parts, one for each semester. Each part contains about 15 lessons, with at least 6 examples per lesson, suitable for 100 minutes (two classes) of teaching. The content is designed to be easy to understand and progressively challenging, aligning with students' age characteristics and knowledge structure. Each lesson is accompanied by a certain number of exercises, all with detailed solutions, available for teachers and parents who are able to provide tutoring.
