Features: After the release of the 2000 version of the ISO 9000 family of quality management system standards, many organizations established quality management systems based on the new standards. Organizations that had already obtained certification under the 1994 version standard were also required to convert to the new standard's requirements. To meet the needs of this situation, we conducted in-depth research on the new standard and summarized the consulting experience of experts in ISO 9001:2000, selecting quality management system documents compiled by some organizations that had obtained ISO 9001:2000 certification. Based on this, we designed and compiled this series of books for reference by readers. The quality management system documents consist of a quality manual, procedural documents, work instructions, and records. The quality manual is a document that provides consistent information about the quality management system to both internal and external stakeholders. Procedural documents and work instructions provide information on how to consistently perform activities and processes. Records, on the other hand, provide objective evidence of completed activities or achieved results. The content of this book is based on a computer software company that has obtained ISO 9001:2000 certification, consisting of two parts: an example of a quality manual and an example of procedural documents. In the first part, the quality policy and quality objectives are presented as important components of the quality manual. This is just one approach and not mandatory; releasing the quality policy and quality objectives as separate documents is also compliant with standard requirements. Therefore, when compiling a quality manual, organizations can add or delete content based on their actual circumstances, striving to meet both standard and practical requirements. The second part, procedural document examples, is composed of three aspects: procedural documents required by ISO 9001:2000, recommended procedural documents to be added, and procedural documents that can be optionally compiled.
