Apple of the gap

Features: This novel flows with poetic language and cinematic imagery, depicting the ambiguous emotions between young men and women, primarily telling a tragic love story. The protagonist, the graceful young girl Binglu, is a neoclassical girl who falls in love with the charming scholar Shen Chuntao. Shen Chuntao is also entangled in an unresolved love story with his first love, Wei Zi. The ending is a true story: in real life, Shen Chuntao lost both Binglu and Wei Zi, and the pregnant Wei Zi married someone else. Perhaps every life is a bitten apple by God, and every love is similar. Even the strongest life, like a bitten apple, has moments of helplessness and dryness; even the greatest love, like an apple with a crack, has moments of loss. When a love is sorrowfully lost, it is like a cracked apple—already incomplete. If there is a new encounter, it can turn the incomplete into a kind of completeness. In truth, incompleteness is also a kind of completeness, just like the phases of the moon. Whether it is full or waning, it is still a form of completeness.
