Features: Relying solely on pulse diagnosis, one can accurately determine conditions such as "superficial gastritis" and "uterine fibroids"! A veteran physician with over 40 years of experience can diagnose most of a patient's illnesses through pulse diagnosis, achieving an accuracy rate of over 80%! In his remaining years, he personally mentored young TCM practitioners, passing down the unique and miraculous TCM "precise pulse diagnosis." The Ten Yuan TCM Master-Apprentice Series expands the channels of master-apprentice learning through books. In layman's terms, a reader can "pay respects to" many masters through this series, and an author can "mentor" many apprentices through it. This way, our TCM master-apprentice system can reach the level of a "thoroughfare connecting nine provinces."
At the end of 2007, during my speech at the first Fuyang Forum, I said, "I hope everyone can contribute their experiences to jointly revitalize TCM." Here, I would like to issue a call for those with wisdom to share their experiences and join the ranks of authors in this series, contributing to the revival of TCM. —Excerpted from Li Ke's "Famous Physicians Are My Teachers" (Preface to the Ten Yuan TCM Master-Apprentice Series)
Pulse-taking is one of the "Four Examinations" in TCM and an indispensable objective basis for syndrome differentiation and treatment, holding significant importance in clinical diagnosis. The book Zhonghua Pulse Diagnosis is divided into four parts: the Upper, Middle, Lower, and Appendix. The Upper Part discusses the significance and origin of pulse diagnosis, as well as its development. The Middle Part systematically explains 28 pulse types based on the depth of pulse positions, the quantity of pulse beats, the strength of the pulse, the size of the pulse amplitude, the length of the pulse body, changes in pulse shape, alterations in pulse rhythm, and combined pulse phenomena, particularly using the methods of contrast and analogy. This helps learners achieve the goal of understanding clearly in their minds and perceiving distinctly with their fingers. The Lower Part introduces new findings in modern pulse diagnosis research. The Appendix selects and compiles some ancient pulse diagnosis literature for readers to review and reference.
This book not only preserves ancient knowledge and promotes modern advancements but also incorporates the essence of past pulse diagnosis practices while sharing the author's personal insights. It serves as a reference for clinical, teaching, and research professionals, as well as a study material for teaching and learning purposes.
