Features: To implement the "Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China" and the "Solid Waste Pollution Control Law of the People's Republic of China," strengthen the pollution control of hazardous waste, protect the environment, and ensure human health, this standard has been formulated. Based on the actual conditions of China, this standard focuses on centralized continuous-type incineration facilities and covers the entire pollution control process of hazardous waste incineration. For incineration facilities with heat recovery conditions, the comprehensive utilization of heat energy should be considered. This standard was proposed by the Pollution Control Department of the Ministry of Environmental Protection. It falls under the jurisdiction of the Technology and Standards Department of the Ministry of Environmental Protection. The China National Environmental Monitoring Center and the University of Science and Technology of China were responsible for drafting this standard. The content of this standard (including the implementation date) is equivalent to the "Hazardous Waste Incineration Pollution Control Standard" (GWKB2-1999) issued by the Ministry of Environmental Protection on December 3, 1999. From the date of implementation of this standard, it replaces GWKB2-1999. This standard is interpreted by the Ministry of Environmental Protection.
